Ying Kwan Chan 陈映均

Ying Kwan (O’Keeffe) is an international student from Hong Kong SAR of China, currently pursuing a double master’s degree in Marketing and International Tourism and Hospitality Management at Griffith University, with expected graduation in December 2025. She has a professional background in marketing, event coordination, and competition planning, and aspires to become a program manager after graduation.

In 2023, she was the 3rd runner-up in the China Shaoxing “Ten Thousand Acres, Trillion Yuan” Global Entrepreneurship Competition, representing her company and earning a place in the national finals. She received the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence in 2024 and was recently named one of four national finalists in the 2025 Australia China Alumni Association (ACAA) All-Rounder Student Award.

Beyond her academic life, O’Keeffe is actively engaged in volunteer work with both charitable organisations and university groups. She currently volunteers with the Australian Red Cross, Volunteering Gold Coast, Gold Coast Eisteddfod, and the Griffith Student Guild. She believes in giving back to the community and sees volunteerism as a vital part of both personal and professional growth. O’Keeffe lives by the belief: always try your best and live with no regrets.
